Chelsea, Arsenal Lit Up UEFA Europa League

UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE

THE BLUES’ NIGHT
It was a night to remember as the Blues were able to qualify for the next round of the UEFA Europa League after some unstable matches played in the English premier league (EPL). However, Chelsea were on the verge to qualify for the next round after a victory at Stamford Bridge against their opponent Dynamo Kyiv.

The French attacker, Olivier Giroud got a hat-trick for the Blues and had an assist to his name, which made him to be the man of the match after yesterday’s victory. He first found the net at the 5th minute of the game, when Willian delivered a corner kick which Ruben Loftus-Cheek headed to Olivier Giroud. And then the second goal came at the 33rd minute as a result of teasing cross from Marcos Alonso that found Olivier Giroud, who kicked the ball into the net. The third goal came from Marcos Alonso, who had earlier on gave an assist to Olivier Giroud, though this time the assist came from Callum Hudson-Odoi, the goal was scored at the first minute of added time before the break.
After the first half, the Blues seems not satisfied and needed to score more goals. The fourth goal came from Olivier Giroud, this time he used his head to show one of his talents. The goal was assisted at the 59th minute by the Brazilian, Willian. The game was not over until Callum Hudson-Odoi got his name on the score sheet at the 78th minute with an assist from the hat-trick man, Olivier Giroud. So, Chelsea wrapped things up at the Stadion NSK Olimpiyskiy, by scoring an aggregate of 8 goals to nothing against their opponent, Dynamo Kyiv, making them to qualify for the next round. Kudos Chelsea.
IT WAS A RED TIME FOR RENNES AT THE EMIRATES STADIUM
After a victory against Arsenal at home, it seemed mission accomplished but this time the Gunners with their squad bounced back and won against Rennes at the Emirates Stadium. None of the Rennes players got their names registered on the scoresheet, but a classic tap from the Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the 5th minute gave Arsenal the lead by an assist from Aaron Ramsey.
Ten minutes later, Arsenal got another goal, this time from the midfielder, Ainsley Maitland-Niles who used head to score at the 15th minute with the assist from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Now the both teams were drawn on a levelled terms. But at the 72nd minute, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang got his name registered on the score sheet after a low cross was provided by Sead Kolasinac, with the striker who got an easy finish. Something fascinating happen during the celebration of the second goal, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang wore mask of “Black Panther” and crossed his arms against each other to celebrate his goal, it is a “wakanda something”.
SAD MOMENT AND THE CHERISHED ONES
Well, Inter Milan lost at home and crashed out of the UEFA Europa League after conceding a lone goal from Eintracht Frankfurt scored by Luka Jovic at the 6th minute of the game, which happens to be the only goal between both teams. A surprised qualification to the next round for the Eintracht Frankfurt team. Congrats Frankfurt.
Another surprise which saw the La Liga team that won the UEFA Europa League thrice consecutively lost to Slavia Prague. The scores for the game was 4-3 on the favour for Slavia Prague, who won 5-4 on aggregate.
It was an easy win for Villareal, who won 2-1 against Zenith St. Petersburg, making 5-2 on aggregate.
While it was a narrow victory for Napoli, who lost against Salzburg away, 3-1 but manage to progress to the next round on an aggregate of 4-3. Also, Valencia qualify after the two teams scored against each other on a level term, Valencia 1-1 FC Krasnodar, but the victory belonged to Valencia who won on an aggregate of 3-2
